For Us, By Us
For Us, By Us is a nine-month project running from September 2025 - April 2026. The project aims to strengthen our community’s resilience by developing the skills and confidence of six QTIPoC+ individuals, by providing them with training and support to co-create and deliver a programme of free events for the wider QTIPoC+ community, running from January - April 2026.
As a small organisation, we hope that this project will help to build resilience within Exhale by facilitating more community ownership in the work that we do, and by building capacity for individuals to support one another and lead on future activities in the community.
The project will:
Build skills and confidence in facilitation, leadership and event and project planning
Facilitate access to peer support and community connection
Provide paid opportunities and access to mentorship
Promote resilience in our community and within Exhale.Group.
Anyone aged over 16 years old who identifies as QTIPoC+ (Queer/Trans/Intersex and as Black/a Person of Colour) can apply. More information on the application process and how to apply can be found here.
